On a Mission for my Savior.

It is funny to me how many people have mocked my calling of being a missionary to the Business World…if I had appeased satan and listened to them I probably would not put much effort into that calling and just sit by while my friends, family, and coworkers live a life without knowing Christ… last night at the WHHS Homecoming Football Game, one of the high school seniors on Homecoming Court said that his ultimate goal was to bring as many people to Heaven with him as possible when he died… I know that nothing I say or do will save anyone…I am simply an empty vessel for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Do I believe that my God is indeed MIGHTY to save? Or am I simply living as if I don’t have the GREATEST gift of all in my possession but I’m too selfish to share it?!?!? My God can melt hearts of stone and cause anyone to have the desire to follow Him. Am I ready to share when He asks me to? Today I got to share my faith with a dear friend of mine who has been seeking God. I have been praying for her for 6 years. God is faithful. We may have fear but God will give us the wisdom and the words we need when we ask Him. We are CALLED to share, we are CALLED to be UNASHAMED for Jesus Christ. We are CALLED to make disciples and train them to serve HIM!!! My heart is so full of joy and gladness for this precious gift of salvation that God wants me to tell you about.

My purpose in life is to share this precious gift…to shout it from the roof tops…to explain to each and every one of you that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sin, He died, was buried, rose again the 3rd day and  appeared to hundreds of eye witnesses before He ascended in to Heaven to sit down at the right hand of God. The work is finished. All we must do to be saved is “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved” Acts 16:31. No special prayer, no formula, just simply belief in a God who sent His one and only Son to die for YOU…for me… How amazing is that?

What a MIGHTY God we serve!
